Gel-type strongly acidic styrene type cation exchange resin is a cross-linked copolymer of styrene and divinylbenzene, with a sulfonic acid-based ion exchange resin. Strong acid cation exchange resin acidity is comparable to that of sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid, and it has the characteristics of high strength and large exchange capacity. 001x16 strong acid exchange resin is mainly used for extraction of antibiotics and desalination of stevia.

Acidity is equal to sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid’s.
